Cookabout Support

You can delete your account at any time, right inside the app:

1. Open Cookabout and go to the Me tab.
2. Tap Account → Delete Account.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting your account unlinks your Google or Apple sign-in from Cookabout and permanently erases your personal information from our servers — including your email address, name, pantry selections, and dietary preferences. This cannot be undone.

Prefer email? Send a deletion request to support@echohey.com from the email address associated with your account, and we will complete it within 30 days.

Go to Me → Account → Sign out of all devices. This immediately ends every active session on every device. Use it if you signed in on a shared device or suspect someone else has access to your account.

We take recipe accuracy seriously — exact temperatures and gram weights are the whole point of Cookabout. If a number looks wrong, a step is unclear, or an allergen label is missing, email support@echohey.com with:

1. The recipe name;
2. The step or ingredient in question;
3. What you expected instead (if you know).

We review every report and correct verified errors in the next content update.

Open the ingredient's page in the app — most ingredients include where-to-buy tips (regular supermarket vs. Asian grocery) and practical substitutions ranked from closest to most accessible. If an ingredient you're stuck on has no substitution listed, tell us at support@echohey.com and we'll research one.

Your allergen and dietary settings let the "What's for dinner tonight" feature filter out dishes you can't or don't want to eat, and tailor suggestions to your goals. These settings are optional, stored securely with your account, never shared with third parties, and deleted when you delete your account. See our Privacy Policy for details.

No. Cookabout contains no ads, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party analytics tools. We never collect your location and never sell your data.
